Sick with the flu...weeeee

Nothing to really do..stuck in the house. I'm off work for the rest of the week, and I wanna go out and do stuff but there's nothing to do...

I wanna go shopping or something but I need to watch my money since a week off work is going to hurt my pay..and rent's coming up soon. Payed 200$ on my credit card though...after I pay rent on the next check I'll try to put most my pay on another payment. I need to get it payed off ...

I had the weirdest dream the other night and when I woke up I still remembered it all, but a few hours later I totally forgot the whole thing, that really pisses me off because I don't usually ever dream...and I have a feeling it was funny too. Oh well :\

Spending too much cash on ebay again~ It's getting sort of problematic...that and my ongoing grimmjow obsession isn't the best remedy for my credit card right now. I just bought like 90$ worth of doujinshi, and a repleca of his katana (Pantera) which came to about 80$ with the shipping, I was lucky it was on sale. I'd been chewing my lip over whether or not to get that sword for a while though...I know I wont be able to bring it to Animaritimes for my cosplay, but I still wanted it^^ And besides, I can still have private photoshoots~

Ah well, I did put 300$ of my last pay onto my credit card, so it's probably not as bad as I'm making it sound, still gotta buy gifts for every one for christmas though...bawww, still gotta be more carefull in the future though...damn you ebay!

Adopted a cat

Baahhhhh. Yeah, I finally adopted Hobo, stray cat that followed me home on most nights because of the jingly BlackCat(Anime) keychain I have on my purse. She came in through the whole in the bathroom wall one night and I decided to keep her. She doesn't have fleas or any health problems that I am aware of. She had ear-mites but we treated her for those and they're gone. Gave her some de-worming formula and she should be all good soon, she's dangerously thin though.

This is a picture I took of her snoozing on my bed. Yesterday I got my income tax cheque in the mail, so today I went out and bought her some basic necessities.

Ever wake up and just know today would fucking suck? Well, there was none of that bullshit. I had a good feeling about today, and I woke up bright and early to help my friend finish up as much of the siding as we could today. Got up to someone offering me a coffee-this is awesome, free coffee from Tim Horton's so early when I get up. Helped do some siding, went to fabricville and picked out some kickin' rad stuff for my Halloween costume.

This is where things start to go wrong. I noticed a lot of people at my work were having really awkward body language today, like every one was stressed-which they should be, it's a Friday and I work in Fast Food.

I am the cashier (whoopey) and I expect to make a lot of tips, (Usually on Fridays, at my work, a cashier can make about $20) so I was looking forward to it. First thing that really puts me off, is the customers today. I don't know who the fuck pissed in their cornflakes, but god damn, they need to take it up with them not me. Every one had a terrible attitude, some of them leaving rude remarks and comments, etc...

The day went by really slowly, and just when I think things can't get any more lame, we get a huge rush of people for about 2 hours. Note, this is two hours before closing, so although there were two other cashiers, (not including myself) during the supper rush....Now, it's just me all by my lonesome, with a queue of about 10 people for the next 2 hours. Every time I serve a few people, a bunch more come to replace them.

Things get worse, though, when we realize that half of the working staff are either new, or fucking lazy and don't do anything. Some of them have the tenacity to take breaks whenever they feel like for however long they feel is fair to them. Although I actually didn't even get a chance to take a break after supper.

Before I go into further detail about this dilema, I must explain how 'Little Caesar's' Pizza place works. There are different work stations, people appointed to each, are suppose to know what needs to get done without having to be told. If not, then the whole system crashes and burns. For the sake of keeping this relatively short, I will only explain those work stations manned during a rush.

1) Sheetouts: where people flatten the dough balls into pizza pans.
2) Dress: Where people will sauce, cheese and garnish a pizza. These people are also in charge of putting pizzas in the oven as the cashier calls them back.
3) Landing: One person taking pizzas out of the oven, cutting and boxing them. Then marking the type of pizza and expiration time on it.
4) Cash Register: In charge of selling shit. Obvious. Yell pizzas back as you sell them so they are replaced.

Now shit really starts to hit the fan. I am calling back so many pizzas that the two people making the pizzas can't keep up, so they end up missing some orders. There is NO ONE on landing taking pizzas out of the oven-so I am multitasking and doing this while I am on cash. The oven is basically a ventilated heat box with an opening on either side and a conveyor belt that continuously moves the pizzas. To put it simply, if no one is taking pizzas out, they will back up and all burn.

Imagine an oven filled with pizzas. There are two rows on the top, and two rows under it. You need to haul ass to do this.

The guy that is suppose to be doing this is a real jackoff. He flirts shamelessly with anything that has tits, he's a dirty hippy, he's burnt out from doing so many drugs earlier in High school, and he's just ugly as fuck and never does his job. It is a miracle he works there to this day.

Anyways, so while this asshole is on his 12th smoke break of the day, myself and a bunch of people were running around like chickens with our heads chopped off trying to serve disgruntled customers and make their damn food.

I ended up making like 3 dollars in tips, and that's only because a really nice lady gave me $2. Some people just bitched at me for the sake of it, they honestly had no reason to do so, but it seamed they were determined to find one. Some people actually took orders that weren't theirs because they were just too impatient to wait the whole 6 minutes to get their own, so we got half of the orders jumbled, some orders weren't even made, etc...

Myself, the manager, supervisor and one guy were the only decent workers there. The 3 others were fooling around doing a few dishes for the entire two hours. The filthy waste of DNA actually tried to make a pass at me by the end of the night, I had to walk away without saying anything because there was still one customer left and the Boss+Son (Owners) were there. I would have fucking lost it.

You think this ends here? Fasten your fucking seat belts because you're in for a shit sandwich.

When I left, I had no drive home. I live about 5 hours walk away from the city, so I have to take t he bus to save me about 4 hours. I still had to walk quite a ways to get home, my feet are still killing me as I type this.

Finally I got home, fabricville bag in hand. Guess what? When they decided to renovate the bathroom, they took out the whole wall. Apparently the poor ventilation was making the walls mold, so they 'removed' the wall. Can't take a shower/bath because the wall is missing and you can kinda see outside. Well, at least they put a tarp over the hole so you can take a leak but still.

The best surprise of all! I walk into my room to find, kitty litter.

That's right, the kitty litter was moved to my bedroom. Now, I asked the home owner (my good friend) why it was, that he moved his girlfriend's cat's shit box into my room.

1) I never let cats in my room. Because: They knock stuff over, they piss in my laundry basket and they shed hair all over the place.
2) I had my $1000+ Camera and lense sitting on my desk, imagine my surprise that the cat actually didn't manage to knock it over and break it. If so, I would have sent him the bill. Also, my psp had more scratches than usual...I can't prove the cats did this, but I'm sure they did.
3) I hate cats
4) I'm allergic to cats
5) they chew on my stuff

Now, I keep my door shut for a reason. I didn't think it required a lock, it already had locks put in place you see-locks made of common sense. Apparently common sense isn't so common these days, because he happily opened my door, put the box of litter on the floor-it wasn't even cleaned out I will have you know-and when I turned the light on in my room, the first thing that greets me is gravel and cat shit on my floor.

There was so much shit in there already that the cat had no interest in using it, so it tried to park it's ass in there as best as it could, if it missed the box-not it's problem right? Wrong. There is a reason I keep 4 bottles of air fresher in my room. It makes a marvelous cat repellent. So I sprayed the fucker with half the bottle of the stuff, chased it around the house for almost 10 minutes doing it too. We'll see if she ever has the gall to shit in my room again.

Anyways, I called my friend (Home owner's GF) and asked her why she had done it? Apparently she didn't. She had nothing to do with it! She had left earlier that day to stay at her parents house since the shower didn't work here for now.

So when HE got home, I asked him.

His answer was "there was no where else to put it"

Imagine, a whole house to yourself and you can't fucking decide where to put cat shit. "Oh well, I dunno, I think the only place available is this chick's room. I mean, she only pays me 300$ to rent out a room a month, she wont care"

LOL

Then he proceeds to bullshit me, saying "I'm sorry, but..." No, if some one says sorry, they say "I'm sorry." PERIOD. Don't give me some bullshit explanation as to why the fuck it was done. I don't want to hear it and I'm not fucking dumb enough to fall for it, so just shut up and stay out of my room!!

I can't wait! Animaritime is comming up soon and I finally get to meet up with a bunch of people I haven't seen since last year<3 I'll be going as Haruhara Haruko, playboy bunny version (with prop guns) and SheRa's going to be comming along too^^ Who's SheRa? Why, she's my Bass Guitar, duh! Of course I name inanimate posetions of mine that I love XD

Anyways, asside from that I have a Misato cosplay as well, and I doubt I'll have my Millia cosplay done...the wig hasn't gotten here yet. I know there's about 3 weeks, and there's a chance I might get it before then but I don't want to waste my time making that cosplay if the wig wont be in on time, I'll make it for a different con or use the wig for something else. I have way too many things to do right now @_@

Asside from that, my convention is going pretty well. Not to sound self-glorified by saying it's mine, but I'm paying for it all XD Seriously...I'm going to be paying for the hotel's ballrooms and rooms, the room block we'll be getting for our attendees, I'll also be persoanlly paying for our special guest to room at the hotel for the durration of the convention. Not only that but I designed the graphics, and coded the homepage haha XD I want to shoot myself for using tables though -_-; Next year will be the usual, plain old DIV layers and iFrames<3

Bought Blind Guardian CD, (the two-disc live) it's spiffy, listening to it right now! Anyways..so I'll finish up my skirts today for my elf costume...then I just need two bracers and a dagger frog for the belt. And a belt too actually! XD Once I'm done that I'm going to start buying materials for my Drizzt costume, I want to finish that one ASAP because as soon as I'm done I have to help my friend Terra make her Gwenhwyvar costume, haha-the convention will be fun, (we'll be doing a skit).

YAY

My wood elf costume is almost complete! >:P Just to buy those overly-expensive, lovely suede boots and finish my skirts... the Chemise, Bodice, and Cloak are already finished..Got all the jewelry for it...some druid symbols and whatnot :P I've got my latex ear-tips and spirit gum, AND some earcuffs to wear over the seam so you can't notice the color difference as much.
All I need to do is finish the skirts, and buy those blasted boots.

Depending on how cold it is that week-I might buy some faux fur to line my cloak with,(last minute) so I'm not cold...I'll be venturing around greater Moncton most of the day taking pictures and hanging out with Janice and maybe a few others. Halloween will befall a Wednesday this year, and so unfortunately some of my friends that are in High School wont be joining us until later that eve^^ We might go to the Old Triangle to eat depending on what company I'm with...Janice hates it there,(she says that all the food there tastes like ranch sauce, haha!).

Well, ether way-I took the day off...last month, so I don't have to worry about working that day. My co-workers told me I'd better to visit them, else, suffer the consequences, :P (they want to see my costume because they know it's going to rock).

Halloween's coming up...my costume's almost done and I have no idea what I'm going to do that day...I have no plans but have already taken the day off ...*sigh*

LOL, yeah this again. I wrote a few songs last year that were pretty good, but I threw them out. Starting to write some more songs...I'll probably mix them and stuff, that's what I love about Industrial-It's Dark, clever, catchy and you just need a singer and a mixer. I can do both. Muahaha!

Chances are it's going to suck but you never know, might be pretty entertaining, lol

Started learning 'Advice' (The pillows) on my Bass last night, will be doing more practice soon too...In a few minutes actually. Today at work really sucked, it went by really slowly and I was tired as hell from staying up until like 4 the previous night practicing a song, plus the humidity was a killer. Hottest day all summer.
Simply horrible.

List of things to buy once I get my paycheck:
-Amp
-Haircut
-Clothes

Can't wait to get paid on Thursday.

Kiara hosted a beach event in Miramichi yesterday and I went with Terra. I had a ton of fun. It's awesome-these events-because I get to know all the cosplayers allot better than previously had! And I got to tell a few people about the con I'm going to set up (obviously with help) November '08.

Cosplay Campout! Yay! Me and my Moogle friend planned an interesting campout in the woods near his house! Ever one shall cosplay! Well...it'd be more fun if they did...they don't have to...

May not have Kankuro costume it all depends...

I don't even know what costume I'll be making yet...jeez o.o I'll have to check out what wigs they have at the costume store...I was thinking of doing a certain character but I need a certain kind of wig...they might/might not have it. XD
I'll check and see next time I'm in town I s'pose. If I can't find anything I'll probly ask my friends what costume I should make that wouldn't require a wig..^^

Yes, I'll be dressed up as Kankuro for the cosplay campout! Durring the day I'll dress up as Kankuro, Sexy no Jutsu style, and when it gets a bit chillier I'll put on his regular costume^^ It should be tons of fun!

I'll post some pictures of the design, I think I'll just wear my hair down and dye it brown, and wear his regular facepaint. I might wear the hat with it, but I don't think so. It'll be really funny^^ I can't wait to get it all done!

Cosplay Picnic was alot of fun^^ It was totally awsome although a bit dull since once again I tried to act in character...and since I usually dress up as rather emo, introverted or arogant characters...I didn't talk to many people and I hardly ever hung around or tried to make new friendsXD 'Sept with people who wanted to take my picture of course!

And I won a prize! I won best supporting female costume! I got a 15$ certificate for cosplaysupplies.com! Yay^^ I'm so happy every one liked my costume^^ Every body's madly in love with Gaara, (pff, why wouldn't they be, he's so awsome!) so naturally I had a bunch of fangirls glomping me. One of them Tackled me to the ground...One grabbed my butt and another one chased me around for a good few minutes...but I was faster so I got away XD

Hung out with the Savage Bandito at Gamezilla, and he interviewed me again, (the first time was at Animaritime in my Tifa costume^^) So I'll post up the video as soon as it's up on youtube!

I'll be dressing up as Rosso the Crimson, Elite member of Deep ground Soldier, the Tzviets! She's really cool, and I love her outfit!! ^^ This will be my most challenging costume to date, just look at this...

I know some people may call this ...a bit revealing...but I mean come on, she has underwear on under that oufit, right? It's no more obscene than wearing a bikini! Come on!? Besides that, I've been dying to try a really difficult costume to test my abilities as a cosplayer! If I can managa this costume, I'm going to buy my URL for my site and get it started up, probly be known for this costume...that's like my ultimate dream *_*

So, asside from that-The anime picnic is comming up soon, it's on Saturday and today is tuesday...although pretty soon it's going to be wednesday...and then thursday....friday...
PICNIC! O_O I really hope Vince is going to Portcon....otherwise I may not have a drive...If he's not going Ryan said that he'd try to get his dad to drive us but...no promisses...man what a bummer...hope we can go...makes me wish I would have gotten my driver's liscence a few years back....

I'll be going as Tomoyo Daidouji from Cardcaptor Sakura! She's always been my favourite character^^ She's so cute and sweet...I'm going to ask my mom if I can borrow my stepdad's old video camera that doesn't work as a prop. You can't dress up as Tomoyo without a camera in hand-right?

It doesn't look like I'll be getting that Kakashi costume off ebay...it's a bit too expensive for my budget right now. I'm a bit too busy to make myself any costumes right now, trying to make time to hang out with my friends is tough enough^^; So I decided to still buy a costume off ebay, and remembered that last year I wanted to get a Yazoo cosplay-and after searching ebay for a few minutes I found one! It's really well made and it's not too expensive so I gave Mayhood money to buy it and my measurements so they can customize it to my size.
But it finishes on monday, so I hope she gets it before then^^l I'm a bit worried...

Yay! I got a call back from Zoogy World, (a job I applied for) honestly I wasn't sure what they did, but the guy called today and asked if I wanted a tour of the place tomorow and an explenation of what it is that they do there. As I suspected, it's basically an assembly line kind of job...I pray to whatever diety is shining down on me that I get that job....

I really dislike fabricville...I just don't get along with people...I don't have enough patience to deal with stupid people...so retail really isn't for me, lol. Well, this is the best kind of place to work at! First of all, you sit alone-put things together all day. You don't really have to put up with people, you can listen to your music, and you don't have to follow a stupid dresscode of white and black business suits like you do at Fabricville...

Just to say, I have nothing against my fellow employees there, but I honestly cannot stand the people who are in charge of the place and their constant lectures boring me to death.

I really hope I get this job T_T

Ah, gotta get ready for PortCon Maine 2007. I'm going to wear my Gaara, and Kakashi cosplays. Maybe my Rogue costume if I get around to finishing it, but I don't think it's inside my budget. I've gotta start saving up for the con!! I'll be wearing my Gaara cosplay last since I have to shave my eyebrows.^^ It's sad that I'm going to end up buying the Kakashi Hatake costume off ebay instead of making it-but I saw it pre-made and thought to myself "oh man, I'd never be able to make the outfit that perfect" so I'm going to buy it XD

So I'm headed down there with the Moogle (Ryan) Since he's in charge of finding a drive down. Although I'm not worried since he really wants to go-we're ether getting a ride from a friend's dad if said friend is going...if not, Ryan's dad will probly drive us there. Hopefully someone can drive us down and stay there, cuz we didn't pre-register for the convention or hotel, which means we're going to have to get a hotel as close as we can to the con, and even then we may have to get a drive if it's not close enough..

Well, the cn should be fun! Crossplays for all! Or just for me...or if Vince is going I'll get him to wear that cloud dragqueen costume I made him. heheh..
